The CPR/BLS certification course is vital for anyone prepared to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in their community or workplace. Participants will learn to recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services (EMS), and perform effective chest compressions and rescue breaths. You'll also master using an automated external defibrillator (AED) and techniques for relieving choking in various age groups. Understanding Good Samaritan laws will empower you to act confidently in emergencies. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to provide immediate, life-saving assistance until professional medical help arrives.
